The Melinda Lee

Little Ship had taken a classic round bottom displacement hull.
Redesigning below the waterline, making changes in the entrance
and run of water passing underneath the hull. To see if improvements
can be made in the performance without loosing any of the stability
and comfort of the hull. Did find a increase efficiency and speed
between the two hulls by 1/3rd, keeping the integrity to original hull.
To give the model Melinda Lee a finish look, by designed the model
as research and or salvage recovery vessel. The deck gear was design
to handle anything that might be required. From handling towing
trawls to recovery crane.
Built on a 1/2 inch = 1 foot scale Length over all 100 ft.
